Congratulations to Pacific Palisades newest homeowner, SNL Star Bill Hader. He and his wife purchased a gorgeous home in the Alphabet Streets of Pacific Palisades. Here is the article from Realtor Blogs…
Bill Hader can now act out his side-busting Saturday Night Live sketch “The Californians” in real life.
The Emmy Award-winning actor and comedian has purchased a newly built Cape Cod-style residence in Pacific Palisades, CA. The Real Estalker reports that Hader paid $3.05 million for the Alphabet Streets home, which can be accessed by heading down the 405 to the 10, before getting on the PCH and turning on Chautauqua Boulevard.
Designed by Clark Remington, Hader’s new home has five bathrooms, 4.5 baths, a gourmet kitchen and a large family room with a fireplace. The 3,400-square-foot floor plan features vaulted ceilings, custom finishes and a wealth of sunlit spaces. The master suite has a fireplace and a private balcony.
The home, completed in 2013, hit the market in January with an asking price of $2.895 million—$155,000 less than what Hader eventually paid. Prior to being reborn in Cape Cod form, the property consisted of a single-story ranch-style home that was rented out for $4,000 a month.
Hader, 35, spent eight seasons on Saturday Night Live before leaving the show in 2013. It was recently announced that the IFC channel had green-lit a new comedy series from Hader, Seth Meyers and Fred Armisen called “American Documentary.”
